JAGATSINGHPUR Feb 21. National Productivity Week had celebrated in IFFCO, Paradeep Unit premises from 12-18 February, the week long programme was inaugurated by unit head and senior general manager MR S K Gandhi. Speaking on the occasion unit head Mr Gandhi said we feel proud to be a part of the country’s major cooperative fertilizer producing organization, in current fiscal we have so far produced record production of fertilizer 12.50 lakh tones and moving towards achieving 15 lakh tones in coming fiscal. Mr Gandhi lauded it could be happen due to dedication and hard work delivered b the IFFCO employees, workers and all its stake holders.
There is still scope improving plant production by minimizing energy and raw material consumption , Mr Gandhi appealed employees and workers that, for achieving higher production all should ensure minimize waste, adopt recycling raw materials, safety and better environment management practices in work place.
A Seminar on productivity was organized in which prominent members from Odisha State Productive Council Mr RK Mahapatra, Mr BB Behera and Mr PC Das spoke on the occasion about the importance of Productive Week.,
The week long programme was concluded on Monday unit head Mr SK Gandhi, gave away prizes to the winners of various competitions held during the week. The programme was attended by Mr AK Sinha, Senior general manager,, Mr P Narayana, along with all Senior Officers of IFFCO Paradeep unit.
