Jagatsinghpur May 22. The veteran scribe and social activist from Paradip Basudev Sethy was passed away in a private hospital in Bhubaneswar on Saturday, he was suffering from paralysis past two years and was admitted hospital for treatment two months ago. A resident of Dhinkia village under Erasma block Sethy had started his journalism carrier as correspondent of Odia daily Samaj at Para dip three decades ago and served the paper until death. Several prominent personalities from Paradip , Jagatsinghpur district have condoled death of Mr Sethy, his dead body had brought to Paradip on Saturday afternoon after paying floral tribute by several organizations and scribes cremated at Swaragadwar in Puri.
