Brahmastra is a most awaited Bollywood fantasy adventure film written and directed by Ayan Mukerji. The film is set to be released in 2022 and It is produced by Karan Johar through Dharma Productions. This film is the first part of a planned trilogy and will release in the Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.
The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, Amitabh Bachchan, and Nagarjuna Akkineni. The celebrity couple Ranbir and Aliya will be seen on the big screen for the first time in this film and they both started dating during the making of the film.

Brahmastra
The film is based on a secret organization called the Brahmansh in India, which has guarded ‘Astras’ (divine weapons) created in ancient India for generations. The most powerful Astra among these, the Brahmastra, is now waking up and it threatens to destroy the universe.
In the first part, Shiva (Ranbir) who is in love with Isha(Alia) learns that he has a mysterious connection to the Brahmastra and a great power within him that he doesn’t understand just yet — the power of fire. The story follows Shiva as he travels through the world of Astras and discovers his destiny as the divine hero of the universe.
Brahmastra Release Date
The film was initially scheduled to release on 4 March 2019 but moved to Christmas of 2019. Then to Sumer of 2020 to finish the pending VFX work. In February 2020 final release date was announced as December 2020 but again moved due to covid 19 pandemic in India. In December 2021 a new Release Date of 9 September 2022. was announced.
Brahmastra will be released on 9 September 2022 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.
