JAGATSINGHPUR Apr 06. The five day Zilla Mohatsava Kallolo- 2013 organized by district council of culture ended amidst tune of drums and sounds of crackers at Jagatsinghpur district headquarters on Friday night as over thousands of locals and residents from the adjoining locality bid adieu to this annual celebration . State minister Agriculture, Fisheries & animal Resources Devi Prasad Mishra attended the closing day occasion as chief guest including local MLA Bishnu Das, Balikuda legislator Prashant Muduli, Padmashree eminent literate Pratibha Ray, were present. Addressing the occasion speakers highlighted the rich and vibrant culture of the Jagatsinghpur in the fields of art, culture, literature and freedom movement during pre independence period, and described the yearly Zilla Mohatsava celebration an effort to create awareness among the local people about the glorifying past of the region and ideal platform to exchange ideas and foresight up building the region for future. Mohatsava souvenir Adipatra was inaugurated by the chief guest and few eminent personalities were felicitated on the occasion. After the closing day meeting the musical extravaganza was started and renowned Odia singers Pankaj Jal and Tapu Mishra sung songs.
