Yuba Mohatsava- 2013 concludes.

JAGATSINGHPUR  June 17.  The Yuba Mohatsava and Odisha Yatra award- 2013, a socio cultural function hosted by Heralal Foundation concluded on Sunday night, state agriculture minister Devi Prasad Mishra attended as chief guest, including MLA Prashant Muduli, collector S K Mallick, Municipality chairman Madhusudan Sahoo, erudite Dr Bhola Nath Rout, film actor Amlana Das attended as guests local MLA Bishnu Das chaired the closing day function held at collector office parade ground. Speaking on the occasion attending guests reiterated the past cultural history of Jagatsinghpur for enriching literature, Art, Drama, theatre and the region contributed Immensely on Yatra , dance and music. The host organization had felicitated few Yatra artists, film actors on the occasion and a souvenir was inaugurated by the chief guest and a cultural programme was followed after the closing day function. Annoyed youth set ablaze 10 houses, property Rs 5 Lakh reduced ashes.  

JAGATSINGHPUR  June 17.  An annoyed youth went berserk owing quarrel with villagers then the agitated youth set fire his own house then the wild fire engulfed  nearby 10 houses of few neighbors, in this incident few villagers have lodged complaint at Anantapur outpost on Sunday. Report said that the youth identified as Bidhan Samal a resident of Dhanuharbelari village under Balikuda block, he was working in a private company at Chennai 15 days ago had returned village, on Saturday he and his few associates made quarrel with few villagers following a mild incident then the agitated youth set fire his own house, the wild fire too engulfed houses of few neighbors about 10 houses reduced to ashes and property worth Rs 5 Lakh destroyed. One victim villager Tulu Samal has lodged an FIR at Anantapur out post after the incident the agitated youth has been absconded and police have started investigation and to nab the alleged youth.
