JAGATSINGHPUR FEB 07. As many as 15 temporarily posted employees who were working in Balikuda hospital since three years in different professions decided to go on agitation from 14 February protesting their illegal removal from jobs. Speaking to the media persons in a press conference held in inspection bungalow here on Thursday the victim employees revealed that they were 3 numbers ambulance drivers, 2 electricins, 3 sweepers, 2 helps desk, 3 security men and 2 washer men had posted in Balikuda hospital on January 2010 by Rogi Kalyana Samiti with due recruitment procedures. The appointed persons including few women posted for these posts were performing duties respectively in hospital but all as sudden they all put on suspension by district health department past two months as they are spending very miserable life till date, and the authority district health department is pleading due to paucity of funds accumulating in Rogi Kalyana Samiti these employees were axed from the posts. Meanwhile Jagatsinghpur Zilla Rogi Kalyana Samiti employees union had protested the incident and approached the district health authority but unveiled. Taking no option left for them the victim employees had decided to go on agitation in front of collector’s office here from 14 February , informed convenor Pradipta Ram Zilla Rogi Kalyana Samiti.
