JAGATSINGHPUR Apr 07. The district Congress SC cell unit orrganised a workers meet at town hall here on Saturday, hundreds of party supporters across the district were attended the congregation. Devendra Mallick district congress cell president presided the meeting and several issues relating to SC and Dalit people’s sufferings happening in Jagatsinghpur district were discussed and the meeting resolved state ruling BJD government has failed to protect the dignity and liberty of the downtrodden SC people, so asked all Dalit people to be united and fight against the incongruity. Among others state Congress SC cell president Ripu Nath Sethy, PCC treasurer Chiranjeev Biswal, former minister Ravi Sethy, former MLAs Bijaya Nayak, Kailash Mallick, Lalatendu Mohapatra, Ex Zilla Parishad president Nata Barik, district congress SC leaders Raj kishor Behera, Pratima Malick, Jyoutsna Das took part in the meeting.
