JAGATSINGHPUR July 31. A 25 year old youth Santosh Samant died following electric shock at Purohitpur village on the Jagatsinghpur outskirts on Tuesday evening. Report said that the deceased was working in one Himanshu Das shop at Purohitpur village past few years, on Tuesday evening he had engaged plucking berry from a tree by a stick suddenly the stick came contact with live electric wire and that trapped him, local residents after rescuing him from the electric current shifted to district headquarters hospital for treatment where he declared brought dead , police seized the dead body and conducted postmortem at hospital and registered an unnatural death case. Dalit Woman commits suicide owing family feud.
JAGATSINGHPUR July 31. A Dalit woman Mama Mallick hailing from Balarampur village under Kujanga area committed suicide owing family dispute on Wednesday, the deceased woman took extreme step ending her life by hanging in ceiling fan. Report said that Mama had made love marriage to one Biswajit Mallick one year ago and was leading happy conjugal life but her in laws family members were dissatisfied for the marriage as result family rows were happening several times, surprisingly Mama was found hanging in her bed room on Wednesday morning , in laws family immediately sent her to Kujanga hospital for treatment where she was declared brought dead, police seized the dead body and sent for autopsy and investigation has started to ascertain reason behind the Dalit woman alleged suicide incident, police informed.
