Wife dies saving husband from electric sort circuit.

JAGATSINGHPUR July 30. Tragedy struck a family in Jamugaon village under Naugaon area on Monday night after two of its members allegedly fell in electric sort circuit, one of them died at the spot and other now struggling for live at hospital. The deceased had been identified as Jhunilata Lenka and injured victim named as Khetra Mohan Lenka both were wife and husband. Report said that Khetra Mohan received the mishap while he was repairing hitter the live electric wire trapped him following electric sort circuit, after knowing husband’s misfortune wife moved rescuing him sadly she had too obtained wrath of electric current and died at spot, family members liberated Khetra Mohan from the live electric wire and sent him to hospital for treatment. A pall of gloom hung over the village soon after the tragic news reached residents we were worried knowing the mishap both were spending happy conjugal life, villagers expressed grief’s, later police rushed to spot and recovered the dead body and performed legal formalities after registering an unnatural death case. Congress supporters stage demo, resisting poor health service at hospital.

JAGATSINGHPUR July 30. Hundreds of congress supporters led by its leader Raj Kishor Behera staged demonstration and protest meeting in front of Raghunathpur upgraded health centre resisting poor health services and lack of infrastructure available in this hospital. The agitated congress sympathizers fumed that the Raghunathpur hospital has been suffering dearth of required doctors and other medicos past two years, its two subsidized primary health centre’s at Tarikunda and Redhua, there were no medical officer past six months, ironically repeated public complaints with regard to develop the medical infrastructure have been ignored by the district health department so we resorted agitation fulfilling our demands, angry congress leaders lauded. Later additional district medical officer Dr B K Khandei rushed to the agitation site and held discussion with the congress leaders and assured their demands would be fulfilled within seven days, and then the agitation was called off. 4 snatchers arrested 2 revolvers and cash recovered.

JAGATSINGHPUR July 30. In a major breakthrough Police have successfully resolved a snatching incident occurred at Tertanga Bazar under Balikuda area two days ago and successfully arrested 4 accused persons and recovered 2 revolvers’, one bullet, two bikes, few lethal weapons, mobile phones and cash sum of Rs 1 lakh 31 thousand under their possession.
Report said that one Samir Satapathy a business man was attacked by few miscreants when he was returning village at Tertanga village on Sunday night; the miscreants had robbed about Rs 2Lakh 84 thousand by brandishing the revolver before him, a complaint had been lodged at Balikuda police station by victim’s elder brother Sameera Satapathy, acting on the complaint police had launched a man hunt to trace the snatchers, following prompt action cops successfully nabbed four accused persons on Monday and recovered few cash and weapons, revolvers and bikes allegedly used for the crime. The accused persons had been identified as Devendra Swain from Sithala village, Rakesh swain and Sudhir Swain from Sumuda village and Paramananda Swain from Samantarapur village while accused persons confessed before the police that others two involved in the incident have been absconded.
