JAGATSINGHPUR Apr 22. Times Guru Kula an educational institution catering primary schooling at Taradapada four km away from here was hosted an innovative programme Guru Gyana Mela for the primary students reading in several schools on Sunday . The prgramme aimed to develop the internal quality of the minor aged students in the fields of debate, quiz, song, music, dawning and caricature and acting. At least 50 students from different schools took part in this one day programme. Rashmi Ranjan Mishra director Times guru Kula inaugurated the programme and spelled out the motive and intent of the programme. Several personalities as Himansu Acharya, scribe Pradipta Choudhury, Saroj Kumar Diwadi, Dhurba charan Sahoo, Krushna Chandra Mallick, Sandhya Rani Acharya and Dipti Mayi Swain attended as evaluators, and winner students would be felicitated during the Guru Kula’s annual function to be held end of this month, informed Jagadananda Acharya, principal times Guru Kula. Doctor’s father passed away.
JAGATSINGHPUR Apr 22. Sarat Chandra Mohanty father of renowned doctor P K Mohanty who is serving at district headquarters hospital here passed away following old age ailments, he was 81. Deceased Sarat Chandra Mohanty was hailing from Panisalia village on the outskirts of Jagatsinghpur town and he was involved in several social activities in Jagatsinghpur town in his living period , several personalities have expressed condolence following death of Sarat Babu who left 3 sons and 2 daughters and his wife has passed away three years ago .
