Rain or thunderstorm with lightning is likely to occur at a few places in Odisha from February 3, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted on Tuesday.
Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Deogarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Bargarh, and at one or two places over the rest districts of North Odisha, Sonepur, Bolangir. Dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest districts of South Odisha on February 3.
The IMD has also warned of thunderstorms with lighting very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Deogarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Mayurbhanj on February 3.
Besides, hailstorm is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Angul, Dhenkanal, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Balasore during the same period i.e on February 4.
