Three School Children Injured As Radiator Explodes in Minivan

The radiator of a school minivan carrying school kids exploded at Marshaghai in the Kendrapara district, injuring 3 children.

The kids who are aged between 5-7 years are students of classes 2 & 3 of a private English medium school in Marshaghai.

The minivan was carrying students to school in the morning and was halfway through, when all of a sudden, the radiator of the vehicle exploded.

Two students sitting near the driver’s seat of the vehicle and one sitting behind it was injured.

Locals rushed the injured children to the Government Hospital at Marshaghai.

TWo students were discharged after receiving first aid at the hospital. One is still undergoing treatment at the hospital.

Police have detained the driver of the school minivan and are interrogating him.
