Voting for the second phase of the Panchayat Elections has begun in Odisha. Polling is currently underway in 1514 panchayats in 68 blocks across all 30 districts in the State. The fate of 747 candidates will be decided as 186 ZP zones go for polls today.
Security measures have been heightened across Odisha. 240 platoons of force, 1753 mobile patrolling parties along with district police personnel have been deployed for the smooth conduct of the Phase-2 polling.
