JAGATSINGHPUR Apr 05. The plus two answer sheet evaluation process was hampered at SVM College zone here on the second consecutive day following teachers bodies under 488 and 662 categories continued cease work stir on Tuesday, demanding withdrawal of block grant and seeking full pledge Grant- in aid.
The 662-category teacher’s body Jagatsinghpur district general secretary Sudhir Kumar Mohanty informed that, the agitation is peaceful in nature and we are thankful to our 448 category teacher’s organization supporting our stir jointly., he also claimed that our agitation would be continue until our demands are met, moreover he maintained the CHSE authority endeavor deploying retired lecturers in evaluation process has earned lukewarm response in our zone, he informed.
Sources added that state higher education department’s warning that stringent action would be taken against the teachers who have non cooperated with plus two answer sheet evaluation has received no impact over agitating teachers, daring the warning teachers bodies have continued the agitation.
Both the teachers’ organizations front line leaders as Pravhat Satapathy, Bharati Beher, Sukanta Mohanty, Jyoti Prakash Samantray, Prasanna Barik were leading the agitation.
