The temperature is expected to rise by 2 to 3 degrees in Odisha over the next four to five days, according to the Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre.

Temperatures exceeding 35 degrees Celsius were recorded at eight locations in the last 24 hours, with the maximum reading of 37.5 degrees at Boudh and 37.1 degrees at Angul.
Talcher, Sonepur, Titilagarh, and Balangir each had 37 degrees, Bhubaneswar had 35.9 degrees, while Cuttack had 35.2 degrees.
