JAGATSINGHPUR Jul 10. An excise lady sub inspector Jogamaya Malllick who had been assaulted by her department’s Constable Manoj Parida in her residence at Lala Sahi here two days ago has been arrested by police on Tuesday and forwarded to court. Report said that the lady officer was brutally assaulted by the constable owing some undisclosed reasons and sustained injuries and now undergoing treatment at SCB Medical college and Hospital in Cuttack, acting on the complaint lodged by injured officer’s brother Manas Mallick police started investigation and picked up constable Manoj Parida on Tuesday and presented in local sub divisional court after ejection of his bail pleas he sent to jail.
