JAGATSINGHPUR Mar 18. The electricity distribution company Enzen Global came under wrath of its consumers following its unprofessional conduct harassing gullible electricity users past three years. The electricity consuming people under the banner Jagatsinghpur Zilla Bidyut Upobhokta Kalyana Sangha staged demonstration and protest meeting on Sunday and demanded exclusion of the company for assigning electricity related any job in Jagatsinghpur district.
Reports said that Sangha activists took out a massive rally from district headquarters here and visited several adjoining villages and educated electricity consumers citing its misdeeds how they are being exploited by the Bangalore based Enzen global company past three years and fumed against the CESU who has been assigned the company for distribution, bill collection and maintenance work to the said company. The Sangha members requested the electricity consumers to be stayed away paying electricity dues to the Enzen global during March even they used force with regard to the bill collection, immediately inform the local police station seeking legal action.
Sangha leader Advocate Basudev rapping the Enzen global informed the company has launched yester years British Raj in Jagatsinghpur as consequence the electricity user’s liberty has at stake, interestingly CESU the parent electricity superlative body has become callous to the consumers grievance. Advocate Basudev blamed Enzen people using force collecting consumer’s old outstanding dues.
Report said that two months ago Sangha had launched a drive boycotting Enzen in Jagatsinghpur district, for which several protest meetings, Bandha and demonstration had performed in few locations including headquarters as consequence Enzen had removed its anti consumer behaviors but recently they have introduced its old stance affecting common consumers. Woman dead body recovered from rail line.
JAGATSINGHPUR Mar 18. Railway police on Sunday recovered a middle aged woman’s dead body was lying Nimakana near Raghunathpur area on Cuttack- Paradeep rail line, the deceased woman had ben identified as Elina Mohanty hailing from Bharalo village under Tirtol block. Eyewitnesses from the locality informed both the investigating rail and police cops that the woman committed suicide after jumping from a running passenger train on Sunday.
