The Embassy of India at Kyiv in Ukraine has asked Indian nationals to leave Ukraine temporarily. This comes in view of the current tensions with Russia.
“In view of the uncertainties of the current situation in Ukraine, Indian nationals in Ukraine, particularly students whose stay is not essential, may consider leaving temporarily,” read the advisory.
“Indian nationals are also advised to avoid all non-essential travel to and within Ukraine,” it added.
The Embassy has further requested Indian nationals to keep it informed about the status of their presence in Ukraine so as to enable the Embassy to reach them whenever required.
Officials have assured people that the Embassy continues to function normally to provide all services to Indian nationals in Ukraine.
