The number of global COVID cases has crossed 400 million, while the number of deaths across the world has been recorded at 5.76 million according to John Hopkins University.
The US continues to be the worst-hit country with the world’s highest number of cases and deaths at 77,025,027 cases and 908,262.
The second worst-hit country in terms of cases is India (42,339,611 infections and 634,057 deaths), followed by Brazil (26,776,692 infections).
