Joseph Vijay Chandrasekhar is the full name of Tamil Actor Vijay, is an Indian actor, singer, and philanthropist who predominantly works in Tamil cinema and other south Indian films.
He was born on 22 June 1974 in Madras (Chennai), Tamil Nadu in a Tamil Christian family. His father S. A. Chandrasekhar is a Tamil film director(Christian) and his mother Shoba Chandrasekhar is a playback singer(Hindu).
Vijay did her acting debut as a lead actor in the 1992 film Naalaiya Theerpu. He is one of the highest-paid actors in India. He won numerous awards such as eight Vijay Awards by Star India, three Tamil Nadu State Film Awards by the Government of Tamil Nadu, and a SIIMA Award.
